CATLIN (CNS) — Chester A. Allison, 65, of 108 Seminary, Catlin was dead on arrival at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville at 9:20 p.m. yesterday (June 6, 1969) after being stricken ill at home. Mr. Allison was born April 2, 1904, in Potomac, a son of Thomas and Nora Hutson Allison. He was a retired employe of Central Foundry in Tilton and a member of Local 579, United Auto Workers of America. Mr. Allison also owned Allison's Saddle Shop, Catlin. He was a member of the Catlin Church of Christ. His hobbies were gardening and horses. He is survived by his widow, the former Jane Phipps; four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Mary) Burgess and Mrs. John (Joyce) Reed, both of Fairmount, Mrs. Rudy (Irene) Tutwiler, Catlin, and Mrs. William (Marjorie) Molloy, Sidell; two sons, Estel, of Tilton, and LeRoy, of Catlin; three brothers, Marvin, of Tilton; Lloyd, of Henning, and John of Bismarck; two sisters, Mrs. Okie Tutwiler, Bismarck, and Mrs. Alma Bradford, Tilton, and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Allison was preceded in death by a sister and a daughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Catlin Church of Christ with Frank Brown and Dennis Fulton officiating. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery. Friends will be received at Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.--waw
